The American Institute for Managing Diversity (AIMD) (www.aimd.org) is one of the nation's first and leading nonprofit think tanks dedicated to the advancement of diversity management, and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. AIMD is having its second annual diversity summit entitled The Next Generation of Diversity Work. In addition to the highly esteemed speakers for the all-day summit, the Luncheon program will feature an intimate conversation with Senator Tom Daschle and other national figures discussing the local, national, and global implications of this season's presidential race.
AIMD is in need of volunteers to help greet and register speakers and attendees, and assist with the sessions and bookstore throughout the day. Volunteers may volunteer for as little or as much as they want, although preferably a two hour minimum is requested.
KAC-Atlanta would like to enlist the help of its valued membership to show our overall support of promoting diversity in leadership and to connect with other diversity leaders in the community.
There is free admission for volunteers, otherwise early registration will be $475 and at the door registration will be $550. Please contact Helen Kim before October 3rd at helen@warrenrecruiting.com or at 404.975.4825 / 404.232.5219 for more information.
